While setting up our new book club website and closing the formerly used Facebook group in the process, we happened upon some interesting snippets of book club history. This in one we thought worth sharing.
Sometimes, (university) life happens. And book club members have trouble attending due to conflicting schedules, exam preparations, and paper deadlines. But that does not mean that a book club session gets cancelled—sometimes we just make do with whatever small discussion round we have. This can even get really cozy as this image from a miniature discussion session at the English and American Studies Department’s kitchenette shows.
